True. But a Quadra 840AV cluster would consume considerably more space and not look as cute on a shelf. The Q700 and Q605 have the Q840AV beat for cuteness. And the compact sizes of the Q700 and Q605 make them more attractive from a space perspective.
The important point is that a 68k Mac cluster will be essentially useless. Since I want to do this just because I can, I'll be satisfied with the 25MHz processors of the 605's and 700's. I suppose from a practical standpoint, the 605's would be the best choice, as they are much easier to fit with RAM. i.e. 72 Pin SIMMS versus 30 pin SIMMS.
Regardless of which machine I go with, I insist that all ten machines in my cluster be identical. I do not want a mismatched cluster of different machines. That just doesn't look good.
