Does anyone have a list of what LCDs will work on a IIgs?
I can hook mine up to an LCD TV I bought specifically for the plethora of inputs it has. It's a small-ish Samsung widescreen that does 1400x900 resolution on my more modern PCs. Inputs include:

  • * Component video
    * Composite video
    * SCART (into which I can pump analog RGB)
    * S-Video
    * VGA

With the GS, the composite looks fine for 40 columns, of course. 80 columns looks completely horrible, as also expected. I've tried various ways of getting at RGB, with no success so far:

  • * The component video (Y'PbPr) would need a bunch of translation to work correctly
    * I wired up a SCART connector for analog RGB, but one of the color pins (can't remember which... maybe red?) responds really weakly, so reds are almost too faint to see.

...and I know the RGB output of the GS is in good working order, because I have an Apple RGB monitor that looks gorgeous in 80 column mode. :-)
