What can your Plus mount?
My Plus is connected to an AsanteTalk LocalTalk/Ethernet adapter which is connected to a Linksys 54G WAP through a 10T switch.
So I thought I'd try mounting disks/folders on my Classic (connected by the en/sc) and a wi-fi connected (cough) PC downstairs runing PC MacLan and a Basillisk Emulator, the result = no problem.

I've also got PearPC on the PC so I've got that in my sights now.

Only Basillisk on Win, I did try but just couldn't work out how to install Netatalk on Linux.
I managed to see some Pear PC OS X files on my Plus by the following route.
1) I first mounted a Pear PC folder on the PC as an SMB share
2) I then map this folder as a drive on the PC, otherwise PCMacLAN can't see it,
3) I then add this mapped drive to PCMacLAN's shared drives and folders list,
4) I sign in to PCMacLAN with Appleshare and then choose the folder which appears as a shared drive on the Plus's desktop but coming from OS X it's file icons are marked with some code and the letters PC.

As a footnote, it puzzles me why you CAN share Zip disks but you CAN'T share floppy's?

Size and access speed are the issues. Why would a sane person wish to share 800KB or 1.4MB of data on a floppy disk? Zips are different. So are Syquest cartridges, Iomega Bernoulli drives, because they are relatively big and relatively fast. I suspect that any disk drive connected to the SCSI port can be shared. Has anyone tried sharing a DaynaFile or PLI floppy drive connected to the SCSI port?As a footnote, it puzzles me why you CAN share Zip disks but you CAN'T share floppy's?...
Any Mac with the AppleShare Client 2.0.x software can mount the same volumes as a Mac Plus. If you have a Mac 512K or Ke, read here:

Come to think of it, the Plus can mount the Classic's Had Disk but I can't mount the Plus's floppy on the Classic.
But couldn't sharing be made possible with a floppy, say with ResEdit, despite how slow this might be?
