i installed ram in mine and it did the same thing. i removed it and installed it again and reset the nvram/pram and after that is ran fine.
yea like the above post said check the PSU cause it could be on its way out. dust can kill a system cause it can conduct electricity.
another thing to do is to double check all of the cable connections to the mobo and the devices inside to make sure they are all connected properly.
remove and reseat the PCI cards, check the front board (the power button board) to make sure nothing is in there tricking it to turn back off. cause when you turn the system on you can hit the power button and it will turn back off.

yes a PC PSU (ATX) will work, and no there isnt a jumper on the mobo . You have to rewire the connecter a little bit.
