I find that too plus you get more than a request, you get their life story and how much they need your box of random PC parts or empty/scratched AT case.

Yep, it's the same here. Many people in this area are under the impression that anything electronic is valuable so they'll snatch up almost any computers pretty quick. Normally it is so they can sell them on the dodgy markets for a few quid. At least it's a good way of getting rid of things quickly without trashing them!

I still think it's funny when you get "Wanted: high spec laptop" or "Wanted: 20-inch or larger LCD" adverts on the local FreeCycle here!
