I've not head of anyone that's actually tried it (SCSI -> IDE adaptor -> IDE-CF adaptor) but it's something I've been pondering myself. The problem is of course that SCSI->IDE adaptors are a bit on the expensive side, so I haven't bought one yet.
But the theory is sound: if the SCSI->IDE adaptor really works with IDE HDs there's really nothing to stop it from working with an IDE->CF adaptor.
