I have a bizzare compact Mac:

Front says M0001E, but the back has the typical 25pin SCSI port (with the alien pre-standard SCSI symbol on it), and the "About Mac" says it's got 2560KB of RAM, so I assume it's a Mac Plus (without looking inside). Thus my question above... Could this Mac have been put together from two separate parts?

Lastly, is the 2MB memory upgrade common or rare? Anyone got a link to what it ought to look like?
