One thing to note is that this was comparing a "dumb" PDS video card vs. a "dumb" NuBus video card. An accelerated NuBus video card should handily beat the PDS video card. (I don't know if any of the PDS video cards were accelerate or not, I'm sure someone can answer. But if there were, then it would depend mostly on the speed of the accelerator, not on the bus speed.)
