Hmmm, both my PB540c units running 7.6.1 that I tried do this, a brief flash just as you depress the select function over the battery monitor. But there's more! If you bring up Key Caps, you will see that caps mode is not being even briefly selected. Still more...manually press Caps Lock. Now select the battery monitor once or several times, if you like. The Caps Lock light will go out, and subsequent selects of the battery monitor will briefly flash the light....BUT....your are still in Caps Lock mode, but with the light out! This also works in SimpleText, you can be typing in all caps with that light put out by the battery monitor select. [] ]'>
