I got one from china as well for my first classic.

I used monkey island (the scumm bar scene) to see if there was a difference in speed - sadly there was  no increase in performance that I could see( for that game anyway)

not happy with the result I went off and got my hands on another color classic - mystic style - played all the way through monkey island from memory - non stop

took ages of searching to find what right way to put the chip in - as I remember It will go in 2 different ways , and I assumed it will only work one way

mmmmmmm.................... just got me thinking......... maybey I put it in the wrong way after all !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

anyone got a picture of the co-processor installed the wright way. I used the writing on the chip , and pictures of other co-processors installed,  to orient the chip before I pressed it into its socket

I wonder if I put it in the wrong way round, would it still boot up???????????
