Mac Plus Display Line
So I have two non-booting Mac Pluses.
One has no OS and the other has a vertical line going down the screen. What would be the cause of this, can I fix it?
Thanks,

I don't know about the Plus, but on the SE and SE/30 that typically indicated a bad solder joint on the analog board.
okay update, line is no longer dashed. Here it is: http://img401.imageshack.us/img401/1416/whitelineyp4.png
I have the same problem on my Mac 128k... its the analog board....I think you can fix it by re-soldering something or replacing a specific capacitor....
Very common problem. Either bad solder joints or a dead capacitor are the typical causes.
