well it all sounds like a good plan, no way i'm useing linux tho becasue i'm no software developeer, i couldent compile anything to save my life. so i dont have any software for linux and theres no executeable bianarys for linux like there is for macos and windows. it was like 40$ for a 1.4GHz upgrade for a G3 Zif socket upgrade. i was already looking into a new IDE controler for it. is there any kind of card better than a radeon 7000 than i can put in? like a 9700pro pci or somthing? i'm gonna have to put down alodt of money for this anyway so i might as well go with the best i can get.
