A fellow MLAer was kind enough to give me a Duo 2300c, the one PowerBook that I've lusted after since I got into older Macs! UPS managed to beat the snot out of it, and I've spent most of this weekend with it pieces around my room fixing things, but it now works wonderfully (except that the battery slider cover was smashed to bits and is now covered in tape).
