Using an Imagewriter II cable as an null modem cable?

68kMLA PowerPC 4 posts Jan 28, 2015 to Jan 29, 2015
I have been searching for a Mini DIN 8 to DB9 cable to use as a null modem cable from my Macintosh Plus. Would an Imagewriter II 590-0332-b cable work for this? Do I need a null modem adaptor? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Google: Hosa DBK-103

I use them all the time between real Macs and DB9 serial ports (for consoles) and with Keyspan USA-28x USB to dual mini DIN-8 serial port adapters.

So I could use the Hosa DBK-103 cable directly without a null modem adaptor?
