I checked the caps, none of them are leaking or appear to be bulging or anything, they all look perfectly normal. As for the PRAM battery, well, this machine's never had a PRAM battery, I've run it for 3 years in this configuration and its never skipped a beat. I've tried it completely stripped down, with various known-good SIMMs. I'm assuming that the supply voltages are ok, as the two LC630 mobos that I've tried in the machine work just perfectly.
