Does anyone have one of those 9" monitors on a stand? You'd probably go blind trying to look at one of those things today.

Not at all... the Monitor IIc is an exceptionally crisp display. Probably not all that popular with gamers, but for programming, word processing etc I find it much better than the bigger A2 monitors.
