ALMOST a Mac Portable. :(
Freecycle near me had a listing from someone about 30 miles away that he had a pile of old computers at the curb including a MAC PORTABLE! I drove up there and found the pile, but the Mac Portable was already gone. 
Two thumbs up for effort.
Unlucky! Was there anything else good in the pile?
No, just some junk PC's that had any upgrade cards stripped out and a few old laser printers.
shoulda gotten the PCs and made a cluster

What kinds of old laser printers? Some of the old Apple ones are still pretty awesome.
Everything that was left was junk. I already have too many computers here and I can't bring home anymore, especially stripped ones with nothing worth salvaging.
