Thread VST SuperDisk on Lombard or Pismo With OSX? 68kMLA OS 9 4 posts Feb 7, 2008 to Feb 8, 2008 View original thread ↗ #1 Thu, 7 Feb 2008 - 02:49 68kMLA Anybody actually running a Lombard or Pismo with a VST SuperDisk expansion bay module? I kow they work under OS 9, How about OS X? Anybody know if they will read write an 800K disk under OS X? #2 Thu, 7 Feb 2008 - 07:42 68kMLA No SuperDisk Drive will ever read a Macintosh 800k disk. As far as floppies and USB goes, its 1.4MB, 720k DOS, or nothing. I'm fairly sure that the drive will work on OS X though. #3 Thu, 7 Feb 2008 - 21:57 68kMLA I thought that OSX did not support floppies at all??? #4 Fri, 8 Feb 2008 - 04:17 68kMLA I thought that OSX did not support floppies at all??? Click to expand... Nah, it supports 'em. Doesn't seem to like HFS floppies though, as it always eats away about 200k on 'em >: |
