I recapped my Quadra 610 which is running at 25 MHz, added a QuadDoubler (nice to have room for it inside), added a 160 gig IDE drive with a SCSI-IDE adapter, added two 128 meg SIMMs (using bbraun's memory controller hack in NetBSD), and added a NuBus adapter with a NuBus ethernet card. It has had uptimes of more than half a year with zero hardware problems.

While I don't have a list of the capacitors, I do remember there weren't many and that it was pretty straightforward. Good luck! It's a very nice machine.

Mine does have onboard ethernet but it used tiny Apple connector and I don't have a transceiver to deal with it.

Thanks for that link, looks like easy job for the 610.
