Price Check G4 Quicksilver Peripherals 4 posts Feb 7, 2008 — Feb 7, 2008
Hey guys, I found the aforementioned computer on a local "classifieds" websites. It had the following description:

Mac 733 G4 Quicksilver. It has 1GB Ram, 120 GB Hard Drive, Superdrive cd/dvd burner. It has a fresh install of OSX Tiger and will boot to welcome setup just like you brought it home new. Also including mouse and keyboard and Mac USB wireless adapter. Restore Discs included
The price was listed as $175. I've wanted to get a G4 for a while now and I was wondering if this was a good price to pick one up at. I'd prefer free, but around here Mac's are a rarity.

The monitor is not shown so I am assuming it comes sans display. Not much of a problem but I am wondering if I can hook it up to a standard LCD without any problems. I've heard of Macs using a proprietary interface and I want to make sure if I need to buy extra hardware to get it working.

Please advise :]

not too bad of a price.

I have a G4 Quicksilver 733 and it will hook up to a VGA or LCD monitor without adaptor. I do not think you paid too much for it.

What brand of usb wireless do you have?

$175 is a fair price for that, especially if you can pick it up at no extra charge.
