What I would do instead of this is get a SCSI-IDE 2.5" adapter (can be had for $20-$60) and then a IDE-> CF adapter, which are almost free. Same performance and alot cheaper...

I have had problems booting from my SCSI->IDE->CF chain o' adaptors on my LC III.

Where by problems, I mean it ain't working. Just to be clear.
