I find it hard to believe a Q605 would benchmark higher than a Q700 since they both run at 25mhz. All of LEMs benchmarks show them running at the same speed.

I don't know about that. For one thing the memory would be faster with the 72 pin ram on the 605. The video subsystem would likely be faster also on the 605.
