The Apple beige chip is a true beige, nothing close to that color in the Pantone book, I wold say it is at least 15-20 shades off of the PMS 453.

I just ordered some paint chips that are called Apple Platinum from one my paint suppliers, they tell me this is the real Apple platinum color, it is a powder coating and requires a 400 degree bake, so I cant use it on plastic, but I can have matched in liquid coating for plastic.
