Nice! :O Good to hear someone here managed to get one! :D

nice. You can run those things off regular 9 volt batteries, which tends to make them a bit more portable. Just snap off the port block, and there you go.

Also, nice to see it comes with the case. Most times they don't. I have always wanted one.

-digital ;)

Apparently you got a pretty good deal. This one's a bit more pricey.

I've never even heard of those before, but I want one now. haha.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAH $3.5K BWAHAHAHAAHAHAHAH

And I thought the Australian guy who's just relisted his at $300 was dreamin'

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

No, really, thanks for that link, I needed that

AAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAA

HAHAHA "collector's dream"

I got mine for $25 shipped, not with that nice case though.

It's a chick magnet, for sure!

lol, actually some of my female friends were asking me about it. of course, everyone thought it was a calculator, but what I don't get is, where are the + and - and = keys? Makes me wonder, could someone write an app for it to make it a calc?

When I bought one home for a couple of days back in 2002, my parents thought the same thing.

Maybe because it looks like a "new" old school cell phone or some sort of new designed iPhone [:D] ]'>

Although I have 5 ROM packs no woman ever asked me about that [}:)] ]'>

Well, I just bought a TechStep from eBay. It was $42 shipped ($30 without). Good deal? I think so! It also has the case and two ROM packets.

Ok I'll byte ... what is a TechStep ?

Its a diagnostics device that Apple made for service centres in the early 1990's, for diagnosing faults on Macs from the Mac Plus up until about the LCIII.

....you should get a personal mainframe, that REALLY gets the chicks all moist :D
I do have a personal mainframe. Actually I have 2, but I really only use one of them. As for the second part, I wouldn't know about that. Thats not my bag baby. ;)
