This is just a brief message to sing the praises of the SCSI2SD. It really is a seamless setup, though it took me a while to remember that I needed to use a modified version of the Apple HD SC setup in order to format the SD card. I could not figure out what values to enter in the SCSI2SD setup utility to get it to emulate a supported Macintosh hard drive. Incidentally, some assistance with that would be appreciated. In any case, the adapter works extremely well and I wish I was technically minded enough to develop a number of them on my own - the $100 price point (or whatever it's at) can be a bit steep if you're buying multiple adapters, but it's frankly worth it if you don't already have one. My LC III is so much quieter (and arguably a bit faster) with the SCSI2SD installed.
