Hi all -I have too many Powerbooks that I've accumulated over the past year or so, and I need to thin down.
If you have the space, then no need to get rid of any. If you want to save space, I'm only commenting on the ones to get rid of.
2x PB 160: Keep one or get rid of them both? Both work, but are rarely used.
Get rid of one. Don't need them both.
PB 190c: I like this machine a lot, and have a lot of batteries for it. Sweet for games, although I rarely play them or use the machine.
PB 5300c: It's display is broken and the PB is in pieces. I don't have a video adapter to even properly play with it.
The 190c and 5300c have the same case. You can take the guts of the 5300c and put it in the 190c to make one slightly-higher-end system. (Although for some games, the native 68k will be faster.)
2x PB1400c: 117MHz and a better model (133 or something). One with a nice working battery, the other dead. Both machines work, but are rarely used. Should I keep either?
The 1400c is an interesting model, I'd swap parts to have one high-end, and dump the other.
