My museum could always use older powerbooks or parts. at this point my 3400 took a dive so parts for it would be nice. also the pb 160 is one I don't have. problem is that I don't have much money to put into my collection so I couldn't offer much.

as far as your 2400 is concerned, is the screen lighting up? Also, make sure to plug in the drive with the correct pin on the correct side of the connector. os x format may not work with a pre-osx machine like the 2400. you should format it with a system 9 or older computer.

regardless of the condition, a pb2400 will probably be a collectors item due to it being rare in this country. my 2400 is from japan. I got tired of waiting for one to come up on ebay.
