I have done some more research. I have learned that the plus does not supply internal termination. So my chain needs to resemble this:

Plus===Terminator===HD===CD===Terminator

Do I have this right?

if so how do I accomplish this?

I've tried this:

Plus===terminated cd drive===hd===terminator

No joy! How do I accomplish proper termination for the Plus?
