the machines are almost identicalicebook has 500mhz vs 466mhz on the SE

same 576 megs of ram and same video chipset ati rage mobility 128 8mb

only big difference like you said was the hard drives, iam installing panther still on the icebook as we speak so i'll let you know how it goes when it is done.
