There is a bit - schools who still need Mac OS 9 capable computers to run educational software, and people who don't have computers, and who could really do with a cheap, reliable basic internet computer. There's also me and another Mac guy I know at uni, and I'm sure that the IT guy (who is also a Mac user) would've loved to have "disposed" of one into the boot of his car.
I just think its stupid that they disposed of what could've been a couple of hundred bucks worth of gear (there were at least 15 - 20 P3s also). Businesses are stupid...they get pissy since they can't meet their profit goals, then they literally go and throw money away. Had they sent an email out to the all students mailing list offering them for sale, they would've made a nice tidy little bit of money - when you send computers to the crusher, they don't really start to be worth much until you start talking by the ton.
Onto brighter news though, the RAM works great - I'm on the BritPC right now, with the extra RAM installed, typing this. XP certainly seems a lot more responsive with the extra RAM - it had 320 before.
