(iCab 3 passes the Acid2 test, iCab 2.9.9 does not.) iCab 2.9.9 is a true "Classic" application, and can run from System 7.0 (with some tweaks,) all the way up to 9.2.2. iCab 3 is a Carbon app that needs Mac OS 8.5 (with CarbonLib) or higher; and runs as a native OS X app as well.
Finally, iCab 4 is a pure Cocoa app, which requires Mac OS 10.3.9 or higher. It also no longer uses Clauss' custom HTML renderer, it uses WebKit. (It is a good way to get the HTML rendering engine from Safari 3 onto Panther, though.)
