Well... after a long stay at radio shack they couldn't find the right connector for the speakers. I couldn't believe it. I bought the right power supply and a new connector (to solder in) for $35...

I then took it in to work and the power connector on our Sony UMPC (UX-390N) fit the jack perfectly!

Now I'm using that power brick at home - even through it supplies 16v and 2.2 amps...

Would this setup hurt anything? I would much rather find another power brick like this one than mess with radio shack again - and save a few bucks too.

The speakers are quite nice - a subwoofer would really help but they look neat paired with my iMac.
