512k M0110 Keyboard Stem Replacement?
Hey all,
I got a 512k recently, and the keyboard has a broken stem on the backspace key. I have ordered a new switch and replacement keycap, but since the original switch still works (only the stem is snapped), I was wondering if there was a way for me to simply swap the stems out, rather than de-soldering the old switch and re-soldering a new switch. It looks like there are tabs on the switch, but I didn't want to mess anything up prior to receiving my replacement parts and asking on the board.
thanks!

You can replace the stem but you will need to desolder the keyswitch from the keyboard and take it apart.
Thanks, that's what I figured. I might as well replace the whole switch at that point since I'll have a new one anyway...
