The PowerBook 100 & Portable documentation warns of using only low-power ADB devices. I've seen the low-power ADB mice that have the circle with the line across the top logo on them indicating low power, but what about keyboards? While Apple support archive lists the low-power mouse numerous times, they don't ever discuss a low-power keyboard.
Are all keyboards low-power or did Apple never feel the need to make one? Given one of the complaints about the PB 100 having an undersized keyboard, I would think a full sized-keyboard would have been a popular option. At a bare minimum a keypad. I know I used my PowerBook Duo this way all the time ...
Besides shortened battery life what would be the worst that could happen? Some things I've read seemed to indicate I could overload the circuitry. What happens if I plug a standard keyboard and mouse into it?
