Swap drives

Hi, I was wondering if it's ok to swap a hard drive from one iMac to another. The hard drive has OS 9 on it. I know it is possible with OS X and just the permissions are messed up and can be fixed. But what about OS 9?

Think it's even less of a problem, really.

I moved the HD from a dead 6100 to an LC III - ie. a machine with a completely different processor architecture etc., - and it booted right up. That was System 7.6, though..

It will work fine, so long as the machine you're moving it to will run OS 9 then there should be no problems.
