I've seen hacks for installing Tiger on unsupported machines and for using iMac DVDs on other machines. They rely on editing the Bad Vars parameter in the OSInstall.dist file.

That doesn't seem to be sufficient on these Intel iMac DVDs which came in kits of Apple Remote Controls. Anyone know if this has been done?
