I first wanted to replace the electrolytic caps with new electrolytic ones but then went for tantalums because the electrolyte obviously can do huge damage. Tantalum works for me in the Macs (I heard that there are usages where they are not a good replacement for electrolytic caps), they do not age (I think), they are cheap - so why not?
