I see you are having problems with getting a IIgs monitor?

If you are ever coming over the states, I could hook you up with one. Anyways

You can use a sony TV/Monitor KV 1311. You would have to make a cable up to

the IIgs an the TV 50 pin header. I have the pin outs on how to do this.

SOMEWHERE. When I find them I will scan and save them. With this cable and set

up it you can have a 13 tv/monitor that works as well and like the IIgs

monitor only it is 1 inch larger. A couple of wires have broke off my home

made cable. So I have to fix mine as well. This cable will also work on the

Sony XBR 25 inch TV/Monitor.

You can display the 80 col with no problems. On a 25 inch set it is not as

crisp as the 13 inch. Any time you blow up the screen size you increase the

imperfections as well.

You can put a regular RCA cable to any TV/Monitor. But you will not be able to

read 80 col, or change the color of the text and background. But for a lot of

things it is ok.

You might want to try this with any LCD tvs or monitors you have. Some day I

hope to do this and take pictures of the results.
