If you look as a collector, apple rgb monitor is obviously a better choice.

Otherwise i strongly suggest using an old sony trinitron CRT TV, scart equipped as i do with one of my 4 apple IIgs.

Overall quality is even better than the standard apple IIgs rgb monitor.

My low res youtube videos are affected by a lot of camera-CRT artifacts but may give you an idea.

The first 2 videos are available in high quality, if you click on the bottom right corner, and give the idea of crispness on a trinitron TV.

If you haven't the knowledge to solder an DIY cable (this could be the reason to start and learn soldering) here you can find a person that makes sells those cable.
