Keynote tomorrow 68k 12 posts Jun 9, 2008 — Jun 11, 2008
Hey guys, another forum I am on used to have an IRC channel but it got lost and we would like to join the little members we have and talk about what is going on at wwdc tomorrow. Would you guys/admin's be ok with us using the IRC?

The forum is called macteens. (no caps)

If it was ok it would me and another user that is heading this up very happy.

Why don't you just start your own IRC channel? It's really easy! Just connect to a network (we use irc.freenode.net) and then join the channel of your choosing. This can be anything (for example #macteens) and f there's no one else in it (and it hasn't been registered previously) then the first person to join will be given operator privileges and can do what they want after that.

All that being said, I'm sure no-one will mind a few new faces in #68kmla and there's a fair chance people will be discussing the keynote anyway... so you're more than welcome to join us [:o)] ]'>

Yeah, we'll probably all be in the channel discussing it (and if not, I'll read the logs later on in the day :p ) so you're welcome to join us there, but it's quite easy to start your own IRC channel if you'd like to do that.

I get to watch it live! Yippee! First one in a long time. :)

The Apple Store has gone to "We'll be back soon"...

Worst. Keynote. Ever.

Agreed.

I'm sure that some people loved it, but being more of a computer person myself I found it very disappointing.

Yeah, I'm not into any other apple offerings except ipod.

Yeah, the Apple WorldWide (iPhone) Developers Conference left something to be desired for me. Yay for the iPhone people, I guess. ::)

Did anyone notice that the "Me" in MobileMe looks VERY much like the "Me" in Windows Me? Not off to a good start with such an association if you ask me...

Yeah I dunno, I liked the .mac better. Looked more apple like to me.

There were some pretty funny spots in this keynote though...
