... But, what all are you wanting to do with it? If you just want it for "2d" stuff, then your 7500 is perfectly acceptable. If you want it for Core Image stuff, then a Radeon 9600 or higher, or a GeForce 5200 or higher would be what you want.
AF has fingered it. When you have your 'aspirations' identified will be the time to buy. I use a 7500 with a DA 533MHz because it can drive an ADC 20" display, and is perfectly adequate for the most demanding use that I ask of it: editing soundwaves. It functions perfectly well at 2,000,000% magnification of waveforms for manual redrawing. Your use should define your desire. My 8500 was pretty slick in 2D/3D, but made to drive a DVI display, so it has 'retired'.
