Actually, if its a 500, and reads a gig of RAM, it sounds like its a Pismo. Look under the display...does it say "Macintosh PowerBook G3" or just "PowerBook"? If it says, "Macintosh PowerBook G3", then its a Lombard. If it just says "PowerBook, its a Pismo.

just look at the back if it has firewire its a pismo
