SE ADB Issue

SE ADB Issue Peripherals 5 posts Jun 28, 2008 — Jun 28, 2008
Maybe someone will recognize this issue...

Booted my SE, keyboard doesn't work, mouse does. Keyboard and mouse in separate plugs.

Turned off SE. Plugged mouse into keyboard. Plugged keyboard into ADB port. Booted. Keyboard works, mouse does not.

Turned off SE. Plugged in my number-pad / trackpad combo into other adb port. Unplugged keyboard and mouse. Booted. Keyboard doesn't work, trackpad does.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Nathan

Odd.. IIRC the SE has a chip that's fairly easy to replace when your ADB ports do weird stuff. Or it could be cold solder joints too. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, of course.

stevep, that's not a very encouraging thread ;) Did you ever find a source?

Not for single ones. Lots of places online if you want to buy in bulk though :)
