Gee conceitedjerk, that's alot of money! I have spent $150 in the last year on retro hardware. That includes my new Lantronix MSS-VIA that I bought on ebay for $35, and my Tandy 102 which I bought for taking notes at school for the princely sum of $25. Look up "Lantronix server" or "Lantronix MSS" or "Lantronix serial" to find the cheap ones. The UDS series devices are more expensive because they are new, even though the older ones work just fine. Look on Lantronix's website for all their discontinued models and try to find those on ebay.
As for the Tandy, the ultimate upgrade in my mind is something sold by the guys at Bitchin 100, called the Remem. It is like the Rampak but has more storage space by far, and you can install it INSIDE the Tandy 100/102 instead of piggy-back.
