Power Mac G3 Peripherals 5 posts Jul 4, 2008 — Jul 4, 2008
Conquests have been quiet here lately, but last week I got a PowerMac G3 (Blue and White) @ 350 Mhz, 256 MB memory, 40 GB HD, a matching (Blue and White) 21in Apple monitor, keyboard and mighty mouse all for £10 off ebay.

Everything works.

At the same time I've donated the following to what is hopefully going to be a 'new' computer museum in the UK. http://www.computinghistory.org.uk/

Sun 3/60 + 2 external hard drive boxes + keyboard + cables + tapes.

Sun Netra server - this has been stripped to the bare basics not sure it works.

Archimedes A3010 and A3020

Apple Performa 6400/180 + TV Card + Keyboard and Mouse.

iMac/233 - Rev B Bondi Blue (original iMac) + keyboard + mouse.

Apple Macintosh IIvx + Keyboard and Mouse.

Apple Macintosh IIfx.

and an original Macintosh 128K, unfortunately this has had a load of memory 'grafted' on to the motherboard such that all you get is a sad Mac.

Hopefully they will be fixed up and kept for posterity!

Martin

Did you record all the serial numbers? You may see them on eBay.

£10?!?!?!? Now that's a good price ;)

Hmm... they haven't picked them up yet, that might be a good idea.

However, they all came free to me so I wont be out of pocket.

Oh yes! I don't think the chap knew what he was selling just quoted the spec on the back of the machine.

There was a SCSI and 4 way USB card in the back as well. :-)

I think the mighty mouse generally sells for more than that on its own.
