Glad you got it out ok. I've seen this before: there is a mode where the eject mechanism does not seem to get cocked fully when the card goes in, so none of the usual ways does anything when the various triggers get actuated.

What I recommend in the future: Shut down the PB1400. Then using some tape if you like to prevent scratches, grab the end of the card with pliers or a hemostat, and pulll straight out, with a little side to side motion if you need to, to ease that card out. Do not squeeze any harder than necessary to avoid crushing the card, and pick your spot(s) carefully to avoid dongle connector damage. As long as you do not crush where you grab you will be ok, you are just pulling against the contact wiping forces, no latching mechanism to damage.

Clearly one slot mechanism can be simply faulty. BUT...IRRC, one way to cause this troublesome condition is to eject a card the usual way, but then instead of fully removing it, reinsert it from the 1/3 way out position. I think once eject is elected, a card needs to be fully removed so that the spring cocking mechanism starts from the completely empty slot postition. [] ]'>
