Once we were there the manager told us that were probably not get an 16GB, and might get a 8GB. Armed only with that info, we waited. Eventually 5 people in front of us left. About two hours later a truck dropped off more iPhones, so I think just about everyone who wanted 8GBs got em, but they sold out of 16GBs shortly after I bought my 8GB. One thing I noticed was that every single employee was very nice, and they were running and getting food/water for people who were by themselves. Then the manager got a few big boxes of SmartWater, and handed them out for free.
