Thanks Scott, I'm certainly having to "warm" up to the idea of getting more technical. I'll have to do a bit of research and find a decent soldering iron and then something to practice on before I delve into this Mac. I certainly don't want to learn on the Plus! I've also got an SE and SE/30 suffering from video issues.
