A Tall Cocktail 4 Door 1940's Cabinet. Looks CoolBunsenLab's new workbench
It's a (ahem)th birthday present from my old man
I am a big fan of 1940s design. My other favourite piece of furniture is a WWII radio studio announcer's desk from the Australian Broadcasting Commission. I'm typing on it right now. I should put up photos of it some time.
What I plan to do with the above is to wire it for mains power and lighting and mount all my lab gear and soldering equipment in it. It'll give me a discreet place to keep various things undisturbed as I work on them.
Course, I could just fill it up with spirituous liquors and a chrome ice bucket and martini shaker
