Dear all,

I'm a bit of a novice as it comes to recapping, and I intend to get a bit of practice in before attempting to recap my LC 475 and LC III. However, I conducted a speculative shop for capacitors online and I would appreciate a bit of feedback to see if I've got things right. The information I'm going off of is uniserver's cap selection guide. As I understand it, these are the capacitors needed to recap an LC III and its power supply:

Mac LC III:

4x - 10µf - 16V - SMT
5x - 47µf - 16V - SMT
1x - 100µf - 6.3V - SMT

Mac LC III Power Supply
2x - 270µf - 25V - Radial
1x - 270µf - 10V - Radial
1x - 56µf - 25V - Radial

And for the LC 475:
9x - 47µf - 16V - SMT
2x - 100µf - 6.3V - SMT

Does the LC 475's power supply use different caps than the LC I, II and III? Also, I noticed on my 475's mobo that the two 100µf caps were 6V instead of 6.3V. Does this matter?

Anyway, I've attached two images, which include all of the caps I put in my basket on RS Online for the purposes of recapping these boards and potentially both power supplies. I am a COMPLETE novice when it comes to things like sizes. I believe at 7.3mm, the 47µf 16V tantalums are on the large side, but I think they'll still fit; the alternative was paying a fortune for different ones. If you see any glaring errors, please let me know, because I don't really want to mess this one up! All the best everyone.

Kind regards,
Steve
